Change Obama's Mind, KOS

Tue Jun 03, 2008 at 02:55:35 PM PDT

So we've come to the point where the numbers indicate that Hillary Clinton might not win the democratic nomination for the election this year. That's a big step down, going from having a lock to having a possibility of losing and tasting the bitter ignominy of defeat.

However, I have a potential solution below the fold...

UNCHOBAAT

What does it mean? Has Tamifah finally fallen off the boat? Has he turned into a trendy strapping dutch youth (again?)

Is Tamifah sending coded operational orders to the rest of the Huckabee operatives (he's better than Tom Delay) on the site to rise up and take action?

Find out more if you dare...

OK.

So the election is over, and we have another six years of Joe Lieberman in the senate.

How do we deal with that?

How do we hold him accountable to promises he has made?

Is Leaving Iraq The Right Thing To Do?

Mon Aug 07, 2006 at 05:26:14 AM PDT

I had an illuminating conversation with one of the security guards at work the other night, my last night working for a rathole insurance company.

This kid is 22 years old. He was in the Marine corps. He was deployed to Afghanistan once and Iraq twice.

We've had a number of conversations on our breaks, about a lot of things, but never before about his military service or Iraq.

I will share what we discussed below the fold.

We reap what we sow

Tue Jul 04, 2006 at 06:18:19 AM PDT

There's a new BBC article on Gilad Shalit up and it contains a quote that is absolutely devastating.

I had something different planned for today, but I think I will write some about this instead.

More below the flip:

Please read this

Mon Jul 03, 2006 at 07:57:11 AM PDT

I know this seems long but it really isn't. You may think you know it but I find something new every time I read it.

It's worth it. I promise.

And after all tomorrow is our national birthday. And this is what it's all about.

I don't care if you recommend, comment, whatever, just please take some time to read below and think about it.

And a bad-ass capital suggestion from parryander in the comments: If you have a gathering, for the 4th of July tomorrow, or if you go to one, read this out loud. It might make the people there actually think about some shit. It might be awkward but remember, freedom isn't free.

Some Thoughts on Privacy

Sat Jul 01, 2006 at 07:20:58 PM PDT

I have been thinking about privacy a lot due to Mr. John Aravosis' excellent AmericaBlog and verious discussions on Daily Kos.

So since I have been thinking about this, I thought I would write down some ideas about privacy, what we can expect, what we should be able to expect, and maybe we could get a discussion rolling about that.

I think people are right, Privacy could be one of those giant slaying issues.
