Sen. Wellstone, two NH state senators scold Gore for 'distortion'

I'm sure you have seen these odious emails, and I refuse to reproduce them.  Is anyone else still getting these?  I get them once a week.  I sincerely hope that my ignorant relatives are the minority.  But in case they are not, is it a good idea to start a viral email campaign debunking that stupid racist 'Obama is a muslim' email?  My viral email (below the fold) would have the headline "Obama is a Christian."

Side note #1:  I am open to the idea that this simply gives life to the lie, so please persuade me in your comments.

Side note #2: I am also aware that the notion of promoting Obama as a Christian is of course inherently bigoted against Muslims and other religions but arguing as such would be lost on these people.  So my question would be - does the end (stop the slander) justify the means (speaking to - and thus possibly reinforcing -  readers in their own bigoted language)?  I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Way off topic side note:  I am tempted to do another diary entitled "Bob Kerrey is an a**hole."  (Read the Fox news link below and see if you agree with me.)
